"Which brand is the best?"
This is a question that comes up every once in a while. Our short answer: No one.
In our three years of experience, we've come across many of the brands the world has to offer. Most of these brands have stood against the test of time and many reviews are available online. However, if we go by these reviews, some brands are actually surprisingly good while others are not what we expected. Such is the nature of reviews; they are highly subjective and not everyone will agree. Even the general consensus is wrong sometimes, but then again this is just our opinion, one out of many.
But what makes one brand truly stand above others? All aspects of a puzzle considered, what we have observed it comes down to is... the picture. Well, a good balance between quality and picture, leaning towards the latter. Quality is subjective; what is preferred will differ from one person to the next. However, when we fall in love with a picture, that's it. More often that not, it will only be available on that one brand. The weight of any review will have diminished greatly once knowing that. It still takes a decently made puzzle, however, to be able to enjoy playing it.
So when you do come across a puzzle with the perfect picture, let us know and we'll check if it is available in "better" brands or sizes / piece counts. We want to help you find perfection, and the joy that comes with it.
